Where are you located? We are located at 2225 Cumberland Avenue, next to BrazosMiddle School at North 23rd & Cumberland Avenue.
What are services like? All services at Family of Faith Worship Center are held in English and last approximately an hour and a half. They normally begin with about 30 minutes of praise and worship. After this, our Pastor addresses the congregation with and exciting biblical teaching for the remainder of the service.Those in need of prayer are ministered to during the altar call which is held at the conclusion of the service.
How should I dress? At Family of Faith Worship Center, you come dressed however you feel comfortable. You will see attendees in suits and dresses as well as jeans and t-shirts. Our Wednesday Family Nights are casual and informal.
Who attends? It would be easier to say "Who doesn't?" We have young and old, single and married, those with and without children, and those of various ethnic backgrounds.
Will I be asked to give money? Offerings are given as an act of worship for attendees who consider Family of Faith Worship Center their home church. At Family of Faith Worship Center, we teach and believe in Biblical stewardship. For new guests, your presence is a gift to us. We want you to be blessed by the service without feeling any obligation to give, however; you are free to give to God as you have proposed in your heart. Who are you affiliated with? Family of FaithWorshipCenter is not affiliated with any denomination, however; we are a Christ-centered, Bible believing, and Spirited filled non-denominational church.
Where do my children go? We have a vibrant children's ministry for your kids to enjoy. They meet during our Sunday morning Celebration Service and our Family Nights on Wednesday. They enjoy high-energy music and interactive sermons teaching them the basics of God's Word.
What are the requirements for membership? Persons who give Scriptural evidence of saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and voluntarily subscribe to Family of Faith Worship Center's Tenets of Faith, and agree to be governed by the Constitution and Bylaws as herein set forth, shall be eligible for membership in this church"
Specific qualifications include: Evidence of a genuine experience of regeneration (the new birth) Evidence of a consistent Christian life To fully subscribe to the Tenets of Faith as set forth in the church's constitution Willingness to contribute regularly to the support of the church by tithe and offerings as set for in the Scriptures Pastor Ruben Andrade Jr. teaches a membership class quarterly, which meets on a designated Saturday. The class allows you to not only hear the history and vision of the church, but also to meet and hear some key ministry leaders in the church.
