Worship at Family of Faith Worship Center
The information below will help explain the Scripture pattern our worship to God Why do we lift our hands?
I will praise you as long as I live, and in Your Name I will lift up my hands. Psalms 63:4
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. Psalms 134:2
I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing. I Timothy 2:8

Why do we pray for the sick?
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord. James 5:14. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will . . . lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:17-18

Why do we have speaking with tongues and interpretation of those tongues in the church?
Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.  I Corinthians 14:39
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good . . . to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.  I Corinthians 12:7, 10

Why do people sometimes fall under the power of God? At times God just demonstrates His power. I Corinthians 2:4-5
It came to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one . . . in praising and thanking the Lord

What is Prophecy?
But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. I Corinthians 14:3

What are the requirements for membership?
A personal profession of Christ as Lord and Savior.
Baptism by immersion as a public symbol of one's faith.(If not baptized, you must be willing to be baptized at the next baptismal service
Completion of the membership application and class.  Pastor Ruben Andrade Jr. teaches a membership class quarterly, which meets on a designated Saturday from 9:00-11:30 a.m., which allows you to not only hear the history and vision of the church, but also to meet and hear some key ministry leaders in the church.
After membership, what then?
Begin to explore to find where your gift can best be utilized to serve and fulfill the vision statement of Family of Faith Worship Center!
